Management Accountant / Finance Analyst

We are seeking a talented Management Accountant or Finance Analyst to support our Financial Controller and manage core business finances and project financial delivery. This role offers significant scope for development and is ideal for someone passionate about finance and eager to grow within a dynamic team.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Monitor and control spending across departments to ensure budget compliance.
• Manage and reconcile credit card expenses and out-of-pocket expense journals.
• Handle VAT and foreign tax monitoring for audit and submission purposes.
• Lead foreign VAT reclaim projects and ensure compliance.
• Assist in reviewing all payments from a commercial perspective before sign-off.
• Provide financial oversight and support to Project Managers, helping them understand the financial impact of their projects.
• Manage and reconcile projects within the Project Management system, ensuring financial accuracy.
• Oversee the purchase and sales ledgers, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately.
• Prepare and review monthly management packs and support payroll processing.
• Maintain financial data integrity and drive improvements in financial systems and processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Management Accountant or Finance Analyst.
• Experience in payroll management is preferred.
• Relevant financial qualifications are advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures.
• Proficient in MS Excel, capable of creating spreadsheets and using advanced financial functions.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Keen attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
