We are recruiting for an exciting opportunity with a dynamic and fast-growing organisation seeking a Marketing & Sales Automation Manager to take ownership of marketing and sales automation processes, drive performance improvements, and deliver actionable insights that support business growth.

This is a pivotal role where you'll play a key part in optimising the customer journey, improving lead conversion and ensuring marketing activity directly contributes to commercial success.

The Role

As Marketing & Sales Automation Manager, you will be responsible for managing and optimising the company's marketing automation ecosystem, supporting sales operations, and delivering meaningful reporting to stakeholders.

You'll work closely with both marketing and sales teams, ensuring processes are efficient, data is accurate, and campaign performance is continuously improved.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Automation & Campaign Management

  • Manage and optimise marketing automation platforms, workflows and lead nurturing programmes.
  • Build, launch and monitor multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Develop customer journeys designed to improve engagement, lead conversion and retention.
  • Implement and maintain lead scoring models and segmentation strategies.
  • Ensure CRM and campaign data is captured accurately and maintained to a high standard.
  • Drive continuous improvement of lead generation and nurturing activities.

Sales Automation & Revenue Operations

  • Support the implementation and optimisation of sales automation processes.
  • Ensure effective lead routing, qualification and lifecycle management.
  • Improve alignment between marketing and sales through shared metrics and streamlined processes.
  • Identify opportunities for automation to improve operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to revenue operations initiatives that enhance pipeline visibility and forecasting.

Reporting, Analytics & Attribution

  • Create and maintain dashboards and performance reports.
  • Deliver insights on lead generation, campaign effectiveness, conversion rates and ROI.
  • Develop marketing attribution models to measure revenue contribution.
  • Analyse customer behaviour and campaign performance to identify growth opportunities.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to improve business performance.

Platform Ownership

  • Act as the internal subject matter expert for the organisation's marketing and sales automation platform.
  • Manage workflows, integrations, reporting, lead scoring and data governance.
  • Work with internal stakeholders and external partners to implement system improvements.
About You

We're looking for a commercially minded professional who combines strong technical capability with excellent analytical skills.

Essential Skills & Experience
  • Minimum 2 years' experience managing marketing and sales automation platforms.
  • Experience with HubSpot or similar marketing automation systems.
  • Strong understanding of campaign implementation, optimisation and customer journeys.
  • Knowledge of lead management, CRM systems and pipeline reporting.
  • Experience building dashboards and performance reporting frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to turn complex data into actionable insights.
  • Experience collaborating closely with both sales and marketing teams.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Understanding of GDPR and data compliance best practice.
Desirable Experience
  • B2B marketing experience.
  • Knowledge of Revenue Operations (RevOps).
  • Experience with Google Analytics, WordPress and Smartsheet.
  • Understanding of AI-driven marketing technologies.
  • Degree in Marketing, Data Analytics or a related discipline.
