Trainer for NEC Housing System
- Location: London (2 days onsite)
- Job Type: Contract (6 months)
- Salary: £450 per day (outside IR35)
We are seeking a Trainer with expertise in the NEC Housing application to join our team on a six-month contract. This role is crucial for delivering efficient services within our Housing directorate by providing comprehensive training and support to our staff using the train-the-trainer model.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Deliver in-depth training on the NEC Housing system to colleagues within the Housing directorate using both classroom training and coaching sessions.
- Ensure consistent use of the NEC Housing system across the department to maximise the benefits of automation and integration with other core systems.
- Provide subject matter experts with training materials and aids to facilitate knowledge transfer within the team.
- Work collaboratively across Housing and with wider council services to provide a unified view of customer interactions.
- Support the implementation programme by preparing staff to take on responsibilities within the system, aiming for a smooth transition to a permanent role.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Comprehensive understanding of the NEC Housing system and its application within a housing directorate setting.
- Proven experience in delivering effective training and coaching in a professional environment.
- Ability to create and distribute clear and effective training materials and aids.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working collaboratively with a diverse team.
- Experience in facilitating skills transfer and preparing teams for long-term system adoption.
