New Business Executive
Portsmouth | £27,000 – £30,000 base + uncapped commission (OTE £40,000 – £45,000)Full-time | Monday to Friday (37.5 hours)
The Opportunity
I’m currently representing a well-established UK-based IT provider specialising in custom managed IT services, who are continuing to invest heavily in their sales team due to consistent growth.
They’re now looking for a driven New Business Executive to join the team in a role designed for progression which offers a clear pathway into an Account Executive position, where you’ll manage and grow your own client base.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Generating new business opportunities through cold calling, email campaigns, and LinkedIn outreach
- Engaging decision-makers to understand their challenges and position tailored IT solutions
- Booking and delivering product demonstrations, converting prospects into customers
- Managing and tracking your pipeline using a CRM system
- Working towards and exceeding activity targets and revenue goals
- Retaining and developing clients you onboard as you progress into a full sales cycle role
What They’re Looking For
- Minimum 1 year of sales experience (B2B or B2C)
- Proven experience in outbound sales and cold outreach
- Strong communication skills with confidence speaking to senior stakeholders
- A target-driven mindset and a proactive, resilient attitude
- Ability to manage your own workload in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in IT/tech or CRM systems is advantageous, but not essential
What’s On Offer
