Join an established software company as an Office/Finance Manager. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in managing both financial tasks and office operations efficiently. You will be the backbone of daily office activities and financial processes, ensuring smooth operations within a dynamic team.
Day-to-day of the role:

Office Operations:
- Serve as the first point of contact for the office, managing visitors, post, phone calls, and deliveries.
- Oversee office supplies, equipment, and facilities, including liaison with the landlord and building management.
- Manage service providers such as cleaning and utilities.
- Coordinate company meetings, travel, events, and onboarding logistics for new starters.
- Maintain office records, ensure basic health and safety compliance, and manage document filing.

Customer Billing and Collections:
- Assist with the monthly customer invoicing using the company’s software platform.
- Ensure invoices are checked against contracts and go-live dates before issuance.
- Issue invoices and credit notes while keeping customer records accurate.
- Follow up on outstanding payments.
- Reconcile payment gateway and card receipts to customer accounts.

Accounts Payable and Expenses:
- Process supplier invoices, ensuring they are coded correctly.
- Prepare payment runs for approval and set up payments once authorised.
- Process staff expense claims and company card transactions.

Payroll Coordination:
- Collect and verify monthly payroll inputs including starters, leavers, changes, and commissions.
- Coordinate with the external payroll provider to meet deadlines.
- Review payroll reports before approval and address any discrepancies.
- Maintain records of staff absences and holidays.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in office administration and basic financial management.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
