Operations Engineer

BBC OPERATIONS ENGINEER | AWS | £450/DAY INSIDE IR35 | HYBRID

My client, the BBC, is seeking an experienced Operations Engineer to join their 24/7 Operations team supporting some of the UK's most recognisable digital services, including BBC News, Sport, iPlayer and Sounds.

This is a hybrid contract, requiring onsite attendance 4 days every 5 weeks, paying £450 per day inside IR35 via an umbrella company, with the contract running until 31/03/2027.

Key Skills Required:

• 1st and 2nd Line Support experience
• AWS operational support experience
• Jira and incident management experience
• Networking knowledge (DNS, TCP/IP, web technologies)
• Linux troubleshooting skills
• Experience working in a fast-paced operational environment

What You'll Be Doing:

• Monitoring and supporting critical production systems
• Investigating and resolving incidents
• Managing tickets and escalations
• Supporting AWS and on-premise environments
• Working within a 24/7 operations team?
