PMO Lead
Reed Technology is partnering with a prestigious organisation in Edinburgh to recruit a PMO Lead for a 2-year fixed term contract.
In this role, you will be responsible for establishing, operating, and continuously improving the governance, reporting, and delivery support functions for a multi-year Digital Transformation Programme. The programme includes initiatives such as implementing Dynamics 365 CRM, replacing the legal case management and HR systems, introducing a new voting system, delivering data-management improvements, and deploying AI tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain programme governance frameworks, standards, templates, and processes.
- Own the programme-level roadmap, master schedule, and key milestones across multiple IT projects.
- Work closely with Project Managers delivering the individual projects within the Digital Transformation Programme (including Dynamics 365 CRM, HR and Legal systems, and data-management initiatives).
- Produce timely, accurate programme dashboards and reports for stakeholders at all levels.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, resource planning, and maintain accurate financial tracking information.
- Design and operate the RAID management framework across projects, facilitating workshops and reviews with Project Managers and senior leadership.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Solid experience operating at PMO Lead level, supporting large Digital Transformation Programmes.
- Strong understanding of programme governance models and best-practice delivery frameworks.
- Experience with CRM implementations and line-of-business system replacements, including financial planning, phased rollout, adoption, integration, and data migration.
- Excellent skills in dependency mapping, critical-path analysis, and sequencing complex releases.
- Proven experience working with business stakeholders, IT teams, Project Managers, and third-party vendors.
- Ideally holds relevant project/programme delivery certifications (e.g., PRINCE2, MSP, Agile, ITIL, P3O).
