We are supporting a local charity who are looking for an IT admin assistant to help work with the Project Manager two days per week (15 hours) in providing IT administrative support.

This role is important to provide IT administrative support across their diversely located workforce, ensuring effective delivery of services to vulnerable and homeless people. Day-to-Day of the Role:
  • Maintain asset registers for IT equipment including laptops, monitors, and mobile phones.
  • Manage stock control of laptops to meet the demands of new hires, replacement of aging equipment, and new services.
  • Prepare laptops and mobile phones for new starters, ensuring they are ready from day one.
  • Order and set up mobile phones and maintain employee details on the EE portal.
  • Conduct regular site visits across London to assess and improve IT infrastructure.
  • Coordinate with the charity IT Support Company for site visits and employee assistance.
  • Perform basic setup of desktop and office IT equipment.
  • Undertake additional IT-related tasks as directed by the ICT Manager.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in a formal on-call rota and be flexible to work at different locations as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience in an administrative capacity within IT.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including SharePoint.
  • Ability to configure and set up Android phones.
  • Skills in setting up and troubleshooting IT desktop equipment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to convey technical information in a clear, jargon-free manner.
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to establish good working relationships.
  • Empathy and understanding of homelessness and its impact.
