Pay rate:
- £17.85 per hour PAYE
- £22.59 per hour Umbrella
The role
We are recruiting a Performance Analyst to join the Performance & Insights Team at a highly regarded London housing association. This is a key role supporting the organisation to understand, monitor and improve performance across the business.
Working to a strict reporting timetable, you will collect, collate and analyse performance data, producing high-quality KPI reports for senior stakeholders. You will work closely with colleagues across the organisation to gather commentary and action plans, ensure data quality, and maintain clear, consistent KPI definitions.
This role is well suited to someone who is methodical, quick to learn, and confident working with data in Excel and presenting insights via PowerPoint.
Role purpose
The Performance Analyst plays a pivotal role in ensuring robust, timely and insightful performance reporting. By overseeing the collection, analysis and presentation of performance information, the role supports informed decision-making, regulatory reporting and continuous improvement across the organisation.
Key responsibilities
- Produce monthly performance reports to a strict timetable and agreed quality standards
- Collect and collate KPI data from across the business, primarily using Microsoft Excel
- Prepare clear, concise KPI reports and dashboards, mainly in PowerPoint
- Support external and regulatory reporting requirements
- Provide insight and analysis on key business performance areas
- Work with service leads to gather performance commentary and action plans
- Maintain and oversee a library of KPI definitions, working with stakeholders to define, document and publish them
- Carry out routine data quality checks and challenge inconsistencies
- Collaborate with colleagues to automate and improve performance reporting, increasing usability and impact
- Use SharePoint and other Office 365 tools to manage and share performance information
About you
You will bring:
- Experience in corporate performance reporting, ideally within housing or a similar regulated environment
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into meaningful insight
- Excellent Excel skills and experience producing reports for senior audiences
- Experience using Power BI (or similar reporting tools)
- Confidence working with stakeholders across different teams and influencing data quality and reporting standards
- A methodical approach, high attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- The ability to work to deadlines in a structured and systematic way
- Confidence presenting performance information clearly and professionally
Experience in the housing sector is desirable but not essential. The key requirement is a quick learner with strong Excel skills, a structured mindset, and a passion for accurate, high-quality reporting.
