PMO Analyst – 12-Month Fixed Term Contract
Salary: £60,000 - £80,000
Location: Central London Working Pattern: 4 days on-site / 1 day WFH Hours: Monday–Friday, 08:30–17:30 Start: ASAP
About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and experienced PMO Analyst to join our Transformation function on a 12-month fixed term contract. Working in a fast-paced environment with up to 20 concurrent projects, you will play a critical role in ensuring high-quality project oversight, governance, and resource coordination.
Reporting to the Transformation Manager, you will support project delivery across both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, ensuring accurate reporting, governance compliance, and effective allocation of resources to drive successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

Project Reporting:
- Gather, consolidate, and produce project reports from multiple Project Managers.
- Provide the Transformation Manager with accurate, up-to-date visibility of project health, status, milestones etc.
- Collate and validate financial reports to support budget tracking and project cost management.

Resource Management:
- Assign and schedule project resources—including Business Analysts and Technical Teams—ensuring appropriate utilisation and availability.
- Work closely with PMs to understand resource needs across a high volume of concurrent projects.

Governance & Assurance:
- Maintain and enforce PMO governance standards across all projects.
- Support Project Managers in adhering to governance frameworks, documentation requirements, and reporting cycles.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of PMO processes, templates, and best practices.

Tools & Methodologies:
- Use MS Project and the full MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for reporting, scheduling, and analysis.
- Operate within both Agile and Waterfall delivery environments.
About You
You will excel in this role if you are:
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Experienced in a fast-paced PMO environment supporting multiple simultaneous projects.
- Comfortable gathering and consolidating complex information from multiple stakeholders.
- Skilled in building strong working relationships with Project Managers, BAs, and Technical Teams.
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to work under pressure with competing deadlines.
- Confident using MS Project, Excel, and other MS Office applications.
Essential Experience:
- Proven experience as a PMO Analyst.
- Strong understanding of project governance and resource planning.
- Experience working with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills.
