We are seeking an experienced Project Planner to join our team and take on the crucial task of collating plans to create a master project plan for our large programmes of work. This role is ideal for someone who has a strong background in project planning within sectors such as manufacturing, engineering, construction, R&D, or Aerospace.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive master project plan, integrating various individual project plans into one cohesive document.
- Utilise our bespoke project planning tool, with the willingness to learn and adapt to new tools as necessary (experience with MS Project or Primavera is beneficial).
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that all aspects of the project are aligned and integrated into the master plan.
- Monitor and report on the progress of projects, identifying any deviations from the plan and recommending corrective actions.
- Work closely with the PMO to integrate the master project plan with other PMO processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience in general project work, with at least 3 years as a dedicated planning specialist.
- Proven experience in handling large and complex projects, with budgets ranging from £10 million to £30 million.
- Strong familiarity with project planning in sectors like manufacturing, engineering, construction, R&D, or Aerospace.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate with multiple teams effectively.
- Proficient in using project management tools, with a preference for candidates who are adaptable to learning new systems.
