Principal Oracle Payroll Functional / Technical Consultant
Location: UK – Flexible
Rate: £700 - £800 p/day (inside IR35)
We are seeking a Principal Oracle Payroll Functional / Technical Consultant to join a growing Oracle Payroll team delivering high-quality payroll solutions for customers across the UK.
This is a hands-on role, leading the delivery of Oracle Payroll E-Business Suite and Oracle Cloud Payroll changes and defect resolution. You will work closely with clients to gather requirements, carry out impact assessments, design and configure solutions, write Oracle Fast Formula, and support delivery through system testing and UAT, ensuring minimal disruption to live payroll services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading delivery of Oracle Payroll EBS and Cloud change initiatives
- Requirements gathering, solution design, estimation and documentation
- Hands-on configuration and development, including Oracle Fast Formula
- Supporting testing phases including System Test and UAT
- Direct client engagement and stakeholder management
About you:
- 5+ years’ experience delivering Oracle Payroll solutions
- Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and compliance
- Proven experience with Oracle E-Business Suite Payroll and exposure to Oracle Cloud Payroll
- Hands-on expertise in Fast Formula (EBS essential)
- End-to-end understanding of the payroll lifecycle
- Experience working in public sector or Civil Service environments is advantageous
- Oracle Payroll certifications desirable
