Join our innovative team, focused on delivering enabling services efficiently across the organisation. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead product development in the Finance and Commercial sectors, directly supporting the frontline to focus on what matters most.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on product vision and progress.
- Manage and support a team of functional SMEs to deliver outcomes set against your product roadmap.
- Collaborate extensively with peers across the organisation to ensure a consistent approach.
- Define and prioritise product features through extensive collaboration and negotiation, supported by outcomes and value.
- Analyse data and customer feedback to identify pain points and drive improvements that enhance user experience and achieve desired outcomes.
- Document and present technology proposals/recommendations to senior stakeholders, outlining clear benefits and costs.
- Drive continuous improvement in technical solutions that support organisational priorities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a product manager or owner, preferably within an internal product space.
- Minimum of 3 years in Finance and Commercial solutions.
- Familiarity with SaaS-based solutions like Oracle Cloud Financials and Sourcing.
- Strong project management skills in technology development and implementations.
- Experience managing a small team, providing clear direction and support.
- Capable of shaping product strategy and delivery capabilities.
- Knowledge of public sector shared services and the challenges they face.
- Detailed understanding of Oracle Cloud technology and product lifecycle processes including testing and change management.
