Production Operative
The Role
As a Production Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling, inspecting, and testing electronic devices, sensors, and instruments while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and test electronic devices, sensors, and instruments to specification.
- Carry out electro-mechanical assembly activities accurately and efficiently.
- Perform soldering of both surface-mount and conventional (through-hole) components.
- Conduct functional testing and quality checks to ensure products meet required standards.
- Follow company procedures, quality requirements, and health and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Undertake any other duties required by the Production Supervisor, Manager, or Company Director.

Desirable Experience
The following would be advantageous but are not essential:
- Experience in electro-mechanical assembly.
- Good soldering skills.
- A qualification in Electronics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Understanding of ISO quality standards and manufacturing processes.
- Previous experience working within an electronic manufacturing environment.
Hours and Salary
- 37.5 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
