Production Operative

The Role

As a Production Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling, inspecting, and testing electronic devices, sensors, and instruments while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble and test electronic devices, sensors, and instruments to specification.
  • Carry out electro-mechanical assembly activities accurately and efficiently.
  • Perform soldering of both surface-mount and conventional (through-hole) components.
  • Conduct functional testing and quality checks to ensure products meet required standards.
  • Follow company procedures, quality requirements, and health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
  • Undertake any other duties required by the Production Supervisor, Manager, or Company Director.

Desirable Experience

The following would be advantageous but are not essential:

  • Experience in electro-mechanical assembly.
  • Good soldering skills.
  • A qualification in Electronics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Understanding of ISO quality standards and manufacturing processes.
  • Previous experience working within an electronic manufacturing environment.

Hours and Salary

  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday
