Programme Lead

We are seeking an experienced Programme Lead to take ownership of a critical Data Strategy Programme at for one our clients. This role is pivotal in ensuring continuity, control, and momentum across multiple high-profile workstreams in a complex agile environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Lead and manage a multi-workstream data transformation programme from mobilisation through to successful delivery.
  • Maintain end-to-end accountability for programme outcomes, milestones, risks, and dependencies.
  • Establish and maintain robust programme governance, controls, and reporting in an agile/hybrid environment.
  • Act as the primary interface with senior business and technology leaders, driving SteerCo meetings and producing clear, concise papers and recommendations for decision-making.
  • Manage and coordinate delivery with strategic partners, holding them accountable for delivery, quality, and outcomes.
  • Define, track, and report against programme KPIs, milestones, and budget, ensuring a performance-led culture focused on outcomes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience leading large, complex programmes (data, digital, or technology transformation).
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, including working with senior executives.
  • Strong experience operating governance and controls in an agile or hybrid delivery environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, interdependent workstreams.
  • Experience working with global system integrators/strategic partners.
  • Confident communicator, able to lead SteerCo forums, challenge constructively, and influence decision-making.
  • Strong grip on KPI management, reporting, and performance tracking.

Desirable:

  • Background in data strategy, data platforms, analytics, or cloud transformation.
  • Experience in matrixed or federated organisations.
  • Familiarity with large-scale cloud ecosystems (e.g., GCP, Azure, AWS).
