Programme Test Manager
PROGRAMME TEST MANAGER, OUTSOURCE TEST MANAGEMENT, SUPPLIER MANAGEMENT, TEST STRATEGY, INSIDE IR35, HYBRID ROLE
My client, a leader in the public sector, is seeking an experienced CTC, SC or NPPV security cleared Programme Test Manager to work on a hybrid basis both from home and the London office.
The Programme Test Manager will develop and implement the ICT project and programme test strategy and policy across the multi-vendor SDIM and Solution Provider environment. Successful and effective implementation of the test strategy ensures that new and amended ICT systems and services, together with any interfaces, perform as specified in the business, user and operations domains.
The successful candidate will have expert knowledge of current industry and government standards of good practice to assure that suppliers predictably and uniformly apply the agreed quality standards and procedures. This role will control suppliers through ensuring projects have comprehensive test and assurance requirements, participating in supplier negotiations and, when agreed with Procurement, arrange for invasive audits of suppliers testing.
You will be responsible for the creation of and compliance with the ICT Testing Framework (Policy and Strategy) across the Solution Delivery ecosystem.
Key Skills
- Extensive knowledge of ICT testing in a multi-vendor outsourced environment and how to ensure that testing confirms that suppliers are meeting requirements, both functional and non-functional.
- Management of outsourced ICT solution delivery testing services.
- Expertise in setting test assurance strategy and application of processes and quality improvement methodologies.
- Expertise in testing standards (for example ISO 29119) and processes backed up by industry qualifications in both waterfall and agile ICT project and programme delivery environments.
- Good understanding and experience of contributing to organisational change in a complex operating environment.
