We are seeking a qualified accountant with a passion for technology and innovation to join our team as a Project Accountant & Technology Lead. This role is ideal for someone experienced in facilitating change, improving systems, and implementing technology. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our operations through strategic projects and AI implementation.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Collaborate closely with finance and tax professionals to support a broad portfolio of work.
  • Lead key strategic projects to enhance operational efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability.
  • Become the internal AI champion, driving improvements in systems and processes while managing hands-on reporting and operational tasks.
  • Identify and implement automation and process improvements across finance and compliance functions.
  • Manage project plans, system specifications, testing, and implementation, serving as the key liaison between users, software providers, and management.
  • Support the delivery and continuous improvement of wealth reporting processes, ensuring timely and accurate information flow.
  • Maintain statutory books, registers, and corporate records, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified accountant with at least three years of relevant experience in the finance sector.
  • Demonstrated passion for technology and continuous improvement.
  • Proven experience in delivering system and process improvements.
  • Hands-on experience with artificial intelligence and proficiency in Microsoft 365.
  • Excellent administration and communication skills, with the ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Strong organizational skills, able to prioritize competing workstreams while maintaining high standards of accuracy and attention to detail.
