Digital Project Assistant / Project Coordinator

Are you an organised Project Coordinator or Project Assistant who thrives on keeping projects on track, stakeholders informed, and actions moving forward? We are recruiting on behalf of a growing digital business currently delivering a major web-based software platform. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative team and play a key role in the day-to-day coordination of a business-critical project.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Maintain and update project plans, timelines, and Gantt charts.
- Track milestones, deliverables, and key deadlines.
- Manage project documentation, risk logs, action trackers, and status reporting.
- Monitor dependencies and identify potential risks or delays.
- Coordinate meetings and produce clear action notes and follow-up communications.
- Chase internal stakeholders, clients, and third parties for outstanding actions and sign-offs.
- Support change-control processes by identifying and escalating potential scope changes.
- Ensure project information is organised, accurate, and accessible.
- Provide administrative support to the wider team when required.
- Assist senior leadership in keeping the project moving forward effectively.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3-5 years' experience in a project-focused environment, such as Project Assistant, Project Coordinator, Junior Project Manager, or similar roles.
- Practical experience with Gantt charts, managing project timelines, milestones, and deadlines.
- Familiarity with risk identification, logging, and escalation.
- Experience in Agile, Scrum, and Sprint-based delivery environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Desirable Experience:
- Experience supporting web, software, or platform development projects.
- Previous agency-side experience.
- Exposure to digital marketing or digital delivery environments.
- Experience coordinating custom software build projects.
- Knowledge or exposure to Laravel and/or WorkOS.
