Business Operations Coordinator (6 Month FTC)

Location: Abingdon, Oxfordshire (Full-Office Based)
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Contract: 6 Month Fixed-Term Contract

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Operations Coordinator to join a growing and fast-paced technical organisation on a 6-month fixed-term contract. Supporting a major delivery project, this role will form an integral part of a global operations team, providing project coordination, administrative support and operational assistance across multiple concurrent projects.

This position would suit an organised and proactive individual with at least two years' experience within a project-focused environment who enjoys managing priorities, coordinating stakeholders and ensuring projects remain on track. There is potential for the role to develop into a permanent opportunity in the future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and coordination support across multiple projects and business operations activities.
  • Assist with project planning, scheduling and progress tracking to ensure milestones and deadlines are achieved.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare documentation, record actions and monitor follow-up activities.
  • Maintain accurate project records, reports and operational documentation.
  • Liaise with internal departments and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Support resource planning and prioritisation across a busy project portfolio.
  • Monitor project updates and communicate key information to relevant teams.
  • Assist in managing project risks, issues and action logs.
  • Prepare reports, presentations and business updates as required.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements.

Skills & Experience Required

Essential

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience within a Project Coordinator, Project Administrator, Project Support or similar project-based role.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to absorb, retain and communicate technical information.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proactive approach with a willingness to take ownership of tasks.
