Project Manager - Transition, Stakeholder, Risks, Governance 

Role Overview 

Work on a high-profile programme transitioning a major customer-facing ticketing system (Oyster/contactless) from the incumbent contract to a new contract. The PM will operate across contract exit and entry, coordinating knowledge transfer, managing dependencies and suppliers, and driving delivery through governance and matrixed teams

Please note this is an inside IR35 role and will require 50% office attendance 

 Key Experience 

• Demonstrable service transition experience in IT/services environments (customer-side exposure is a plus).
• Familiarity with IT delivery contexts such as hosting and service tooling
• Supplier/vendor management in complex programmes; commercial awareness.
• Experience managing risks and governance 

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute service transition workstreams aligned to either contract exit or entry, depending on timing and needs of the project 
• Coordinate knowledge transfer activities between old and new suppliers; track issues, risks and actions.
• Manage inter-team dependencies; propose mitigations for risks; maintain delivery momentum across multiple workstreams.
• Run project governance: prepare and deliver confident, concise reporting to senior stakeholders.
