This role focuses on leading a high-impact Proof of Concept for photo compliance within delivery operations. The successful candidate will spearhead the initiative from concept to production, enhancing delivery verification standards across the UK.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of the photo compliance Proof of Concept, ensuring readiness for production scaling.
• Coordinate a small, high-performing technical team to achieve project milestones.
• Serve as the primary liaison between business and technology teams, translating complex requirements into actionable outcomes.
• Drive stakeholder alignment across various groups, ensuring clear communication and shared objectives.
• Establish project structure, governance, and delivery cadence, setting the standard for future projects.
• Define and track success metrics, such as compliance rates and behavioural improvements, to gauge project impact.
• Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks to maintain momentum in a dynamic environment.
• Facilitate the integration of AI/ML-driven capabilities into operational workflows, enhancing both retrospective analysis and real-time operations.
• Ensure that project outputs are meaningful and actionable for operational leaders to foster business adoption.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in leading Proof of Concept or innovation-led projects through to production.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with a demonstrated ability to influence across multiple business areas.
• Experience in roles requiring navigation of complex, matrix organisations.
• Strong technical literacy, with the ability to confidently engage with engineering teams; knowledge of AI/ML is advantageous.
• Experience working with Systems Integrators or third-party delivery partners.
• Highly proactive, self-starting, and comfortable with ambiguity.

Desirable Skills:

• Background in retail or large-scale operational environments, particularly in enterprise transformation.
• Exposure to AI/Machine Learning or data-driven solutions.
• Experience with device-based workflows, field operations, or compliance systems.
• Familiarity with transformations such as cloud migration or enterprise technology adoption.
