Project Manager

On behalf of our client, we are recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of a major digital transformation programme. 

The project will implement a new SaaS platform, replacing legacy records, curriculum management and finance systems with a single integrated solution. This is a significant business change programme focused on standardising processes and supporting organisational transformation across the institution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day delivery across multiple project workstreams.
  • Maintain project plans, governance documentation, reporting, risks and issues.
  • Coordinate business change, testing, implementation and transition activities.
  • Support stakeholders through organisational and cultural change.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and third-party suppliers.
  • Work closely with the implementation partner to ensure project milestones are achieved.
  • Support programme governance, decision-making and issue resolution.

About You

  • Proven experience delivering complex business and technology change projects.
  • Strong project planning, governance, risk and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience leading organisational change and stakeholder engagement.
  • Comfortable working in a digital transformation environment without being a technical systems specialist.
  • Experience managing external suppliers and implementation partners.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • SaaS implementation experience is desirable.
  • Higher Education experience is highly desirable.
  • PRINCE2, MSP, APM, Agile, Prosci or similar qualifications would be advantageous.

Contract Details

  • Temporary contract expected to run until October 2028.
  • Hybrid working with an expectation of 2-3 days per week on-site in Winchester.
