We are seeking an IT Project Manager to join our team and play a crucial role in managing complex IT Infrastructure Projects within our Defence and National Security Business Unit. This position requires a professional who can connect people, technologies, and processes to deliver exceptional value to our customers and support their digital transformation journeys.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Manage medium complexity and risk IT projects, ensuring they are executed successfully and meet all requirements regarding time, quality, and budget.
• Report to the Senior Project Manager or Programme Manager, adhering to our standard Project- and Program approach.
• Coordinate with various stakeholders, managing project scopes, financials, and associated risks effectively.
• Deliver Transition and Transformation projects, ensuring compliance with project management policies, procedures, and methodologies.
• Establish and maintain project Key Performance Indicators, reporting to the Senior Project Manager or Project Board through Highlight Reports and stage assessments.
• Manage project risks, ensuring that timescales and project costs are underwritten by all parties involved.
• Ensure that project deliverables are completed within the agreed scope and timescales, and that all project milestones are achieved and appropriately invoiced.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in managing IT projects, preferably within the Defence & National Security sector.
• Strong familiarity with project management methodologies such as Prince2, Agile, and Safe.
• Experience through the full project lifecycle, particularly in ICT infrastructure, application development, test, and release.
• Ability to manage complex stakeholder environments and challenging project requirements.
• Excellent financial and risk management skills, with the ability to integrate financial data for multiple projects.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, capable of leading a team and managing large-scale projects.
