  • Remote from United Kingdom – travel to Manchester will be required to pick up equipment
  • Contract (3 months, with potential for extensions)
  • £400 per day via Umbrella (Inside IR35)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our client’s ICT team. The successful candidate will have proven experience in server migrations from an 'on-premise' environment to Azure Cloud services, as well as experience with M365 and One Drive.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Develop, manage, and deliver complex, high-value projects and initiatives, ensuring successful delivery within time, budget, and quality standards.
  • Deploy and coordinate resources effectively, identifying project necessities including staffing, financial, and ICT requirements.
  • Manage change effectively by working with relevant project teams and key stakeholders.
  • Provide strong leadership to project resources, ensuring that project objectives are clearly articulated and understood.
  • Manage the delivery of projects using the standard project methodology, ensuring regular reporting to project boards and stakeholders.
  • Utilize business management tools to manage resources and project budgets effectively, and conduct risk analysis and mitigation.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with senior officers and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and control of project scope through an effective change control process.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, specifically with server migrations to Azure Cloud and experience with M365 and One Drive.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to define work, manage deadlines, and articulate project objectives.
  • Experience in a structured project environment with a solid understanding of project management tools such as GANTT charts.
  • Strategic thinking and planning abilities, with experience in financial planning and budget management.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, capable of managing relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • PRINCE2 and MSP practitioner certifications are highly desirable.
  • Previous experience in line management and developing a project delivery team.
