Project Support Officer

As part of their Future Network Programme (FNP), they are replacing legacy IT networks across the City of London Corporation, City of London Police and London Councils. This transformation will enable them to harness cutting-edge technology, future-proof their services, and enhance operational efficiency across the estate.

City of London Corporation are now seeking a Project Support Officer (PSO) to join the programme team and support the enabling works. Reporting directly to the Programme Manager, you will play a key role in coordinating site visits, managing communications, and maintaining accurate programme documentation.

Pay rate: £251.42 per day via PAYE or £330 per day via Umbrella

Contract: 6-months | Full-time | Hybrid (3 days onsite at Guildhall)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule meetings and site visits, liaising with site contacts to ensure smooth coordination.
  • Act as the first point of contact for programme-related queries via dedicated Teams channels and email.
  • Maintain programme registers, logs and records within the project management system.
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of reports and dashboards.
  • Support workshops and meetings, including note-taking and minute preparation.
  • Provide administrative support for board meetings, including agendas and documentation.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Experience working within project or programme management environments (PMO).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Existing security clearance or the ability to obtain SC/NPPV3 clearance.
