Recruitment Coach
Reed.ai is looking for a Recruitment Coach to join their team in Holborn, London.
OverviewReed.ai is an early-stage AI company on a mission to transform the way people find work and businesses find talent. We’re at an exciting inflection point, preparing to scale fast, moving with purpose, and redefining what great recruitment looks like in the age of AI. We have ambitious plans to deliver a service for SMEs that saves them time and money, while helping them find the right people for their business. We’re here to grow, and we’re growing fast.
We are looking for someone with energy, a people-first, high-impact Recruitment Coach who thrives on making a difference. You’ll be the human heartbeat behind our platform, supporting both candidates and employers with the kind of warmth, urgency and expertise that no algorithm can replicate. If you’re ambitious, energising, and love helping people succeed, this role is for you.
Your core focus will be:- Championing candidates, driving uptake, ensuring employers are matched with quality, engaged talent, and stepping in as a trusted recruitment partner to guide candidates through every stage of their journey, from application to offer
- Elevating employers, acting as a proactive hiring partner for our employer customers, offering expert guidance, solving problems quickly, and delivering the kind of high-touch service that keeps them coming back
You’ll be an excellent communicator, both written and verbally. You’ll work hand-in-hand with our product, sales, and marketing teams, bringing the voice of the customer to everything we build. Our goal is to be the recruitment partner of choice for growing and scaling businesses, and you’ll be central to making that happen.
You’re a self-starter who doesn’t wait to be told what to do. You bring structure to noise and own your outcomes. You care deeply about people and even more deeply about doing things brilliantly.
Key Responsibilities- Digitally fluent and commercially sharp. You understand AI products, the recruitment market, and how to connect the two in a way that excites customers
- A natural problem solver. You can spot where something isn’t working (whether that’s a tech issue, a sales gap, or a candidate experience) and you act with speed and clarity to fix it
- 1–2+ years in recruitment, customer success, or a fast-paced customer-facing role (start-up experience is a big plus!), but attitude and energy matter most
- Comfortable in ambiguity, you thrive in environments that are still taking shape, bringing calm, creativity, and momentum when others might hesitate
- A compelling communicator, your written and verbal skills are outstanding; you can craft a sharp email, coach a candidate with confidence, and help shape how Reed.ai talks to the world
- Data savvy and results-focused. You track what matters, know when something isn’t working, and bring the team along with you to focus on what moves the needle
- Energised by conversations. You genuinely enjoy being on calls, whether that’s coaching a candidate, supporting a hiring manager, or jumping into an early-stage sales conversation when needed
- Genuinely excited by AI. You’re curious, fast to learn, and can articulate what makes a product brilliant in a way that inspires confidence in the people you’re speaking with
- Electric energy with a team first mindset
- A love for direct engagement, picking up the phone, making connections, and leaving candidates and employers feeling genuinely supported
- Sharp organisational skills. You juggle multiple priorities without dropping the ball, and detail orientated to cater to customer needs
- Strategic thinker, tactical doer. You see the big picture and roll up your sleeves to make it happen.
- Consistently fast, consistently brilliant, customer queries resolved with care and speed, every time
- Candidate and employer uptake and engagement targets hit and exceeded
- Response time SLAs met, because in recruitment, timing is everything
- Actionable feedback flowing into the product team, to inform future features for the team
- Tangible contribution to platform growth through proactive outreach and relationship-building
You’ll have genuine ownership, genuine impact, and the freedom to shape how we show up for our customers every single day. No layers, no red tape, just a brilliant team moving fast on something that matters. And as we grow, this role has a clear path to leading the wider customer success function
