SEO Manager

Location: Guildford (Hybrid/On-site)Day Rate: £425–£450 (Outside IR35)Contract Length: 3–6 months (with potential extension)Start Date: ASAP

Are you a data-driven SEO expert ready to make a measurable impact? We’re looking for a contract SEO Manager to join a dynamic marketing team in Guildford and lead the charge on organic growth strategies.

• Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to drive traffic and improve SERP rankings
• Conduct technical SEO audits and implement on-site optimisations
• Perform keyword research, competitor analysis, and content gap analysis
• Collaborate with content, dev, and marketing teams to align SEO with broader digital goals
• Monitor, report, and analyse performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, and Screaming Frog
• Stay ahead of algorithm updates and SEO trends to ensure best practices

• Proven experience as an SEO Manager or similar role, ideally in a fast-paced environment
• Strong technical SEO knowledge and hands-on experience with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Shopify)
• Proficiency in SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc.)
• Excellent analytical skills and a data-first mindset
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
