SaaS Account Executive

This is a brilliant time to join, as they're looking to create a brand new sales team, focused on the SME sector, based in their impressive Edinburgh city centre office.  You'll be based in Edinburgh 3 days/week, with the remaining 2 days from home (or you can work more days in the office if you prefer.

This role is ideal for someone who is fearless, hungry, and perseverant, with a knack for engaging with new customers and growing a client base.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Prospect and manage outbound and inbound leads for the UK & Ireland market.  Inbound leads will account for around 2/3rds of your pipeline - but you'll still need that hunter mentality.
• Present demos to potential clients and own the follow-up process until closing the deal, covering the full sales cycle.
• Understand the needs of your target prospects and articulate the value that our product provides.
• Maintain accurate information on prospects and interaction activities in Salesforce.
• Become an expert in our product and its ever-evolving features.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Excellent communication and video presentation skills.
• Solid experience in a sales position with a proven track record as a pure hunter.
• Ideally you'll have begun your career in an SDR/BDR role - outbound cold calling experience is a must - as is some closing experience. 
• Demonstrated success in developing relationships with C-suite executives.
• Good understanding of B2B solution selling with a short sales cycle.
• Customer-centric mindset with a strong ethical foundation.
