North Bristol (Hybrid – 3 days office / 2 days home) Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 Full-time: 40 hours per week (08:30 – 17:30) Car required
The Role
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Sales Administrator to join a fast-paced Sales Operations team in North Bristol. Supporting a team of approximately 50 sales professionals, you will play a critical role in ensuring revenue-generating activity is prioritised, unblocked, and executed efficiently.
This is a dynamic, commercially focused position where you will act as the operational backbone of the sales function, ensuring smooth delivery from quote through to project execution.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Support
- Provide first-line operational support to Sales, ensuring deals progress smoothly from quote to delivery
- Prepare, validate and issue quotes, sales orders, change notes and renewals
- Ensure all activity complies with pricing structures, processes and approval frameworks
- Proactively identify and resolve blockers that could delay revenue recognition
Ticket & Workflow Management
- Manage inbound support requests via Zendesk, prioritising based on revenue impact and SLA
- Balance urgent requests with ongoing operational workflows
- Communicate clearly with stakeholders on progress and expectations
Cross-Functional Support
- Support multiple sales functions including:
- Business Development
- New Business
- Client Management
- Marketing
- Solutions Engineering
- Collaborate closely with Finance and PMO teams to ensure accurate handovers
- Assist with billing reviews, contract accuracy and timely invoicing
Partner & Vendor Engagement
- Act as a key operational contact for partners and vendors
- Coordinate processes such as pricing, deal registration, renewals and reporting
- Build relationships with partners including AWS, NiCE and Zendesk
Data, Systems & Compliance
- Maintain high levels of data accuracy across systems
- Support reporting and administration across platforms such as HubSpot and NetSuite
- Keep documentation, price lists and partner materials up to date
Continuous Improvement
- Identify and implement improvements to sales processes and workflows
- Contribute to improving efficiency and scalability across Sales Operations
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Proven experience in a sales support or customer-facing role
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and perform under pressure
- Confident working with multiple stakeholders across a business
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to challenge when needed
- Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Highly Desirable
- Experience within CCaaS, Contact Centre or SaaS environments
- Exposure to Sales Operations or Revenue Operations
- Experience working with partners and vendors
- Familiarity with AWS Marketplace
- Experience with HubSpot, NetSuite and Zendesk
