I'm partnering with a growing and highly respected IT solutions provider that's investing heavily in its sales function. Due to continued success, they're looking for an ambitious Sales Development Representative to join their Portsmouth-based team and play a key role in driving future growth.

This isn't just another SDR position. You'll be given a genuine opportunity to progress into an Account Executive role, managing your own client portfolio and taking ownership of the full sales cycle.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Sales Development Representative, you'll be responsible for identifying and creating new business opportunities while building strong relationships with prospective clients.

Your day-to-day will include:

Proactively generating new opportunities through outbound calling, email campaigns, and LinkedIn outreach

Engaging with key decision-makers to understand their business challenges

Presenting tailored IT and managed service solutions that solve real business problems

Booking and delivering product demonstrations to prospective customers

Managing your sales pipeline and activity through CRM systems

Working towards and exceeding activity, revenue, and conversion targets

Building long-term client relationships that you'll eventually manage as part of your progression into an Account Executive role

What We're Looking For

We're keen to speak with ambitious sales professionals who enjoy speaking with people, creating opportunities, and achieving goals.

You'll ideally have:

At least 12 months' experience in a sales environment (B2B or B2C)

Experience generating business through outbound calling or proactive prospecting

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Confidence speaking with business owners, directors, and senior stakeholders

A target-driven mindset with resilience and a positive attitude

Excellent organisation and time management skills

Experience within IT, technology, SaaS, or CRM platforms is advantageous, but not essential. Full training will be provided.
