We are currently seeking an experienced ICT/Business Studies Teacher to join our secondary school team for a long-term, full-time position. The ideal candidate will specialise in ICT and Business Studies, with a strong ability to engage students and deliver the curriculum effectively to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Deliver engaging and informative lessons in ICT and Business Studies to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
- Utilise pre-planned lessons but also bring personal expertise and creativity to enhance the learning experience.
- Assess and evaluate students' progress effectively, with allocated time in the timetable for marking and planning.
- Implement classroom management strategies that support a constructive learning environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an ICT/Business Studies Teacher.
- Strong knowledge of the curriculum and requirements for Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage students effectively.
- Ability to create and maintain a disciplined and interactive classroom environment.
- Relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
