We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Computer Science Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Herne Bay from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to deliver engaging Computer Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
The position offers flexibility and can be offered as a long-term supply role, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
The Role
- Deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
- Plan and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
- Support students in developing their programming, computational thinking, and digital literacy skills.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support departmental success.
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds QTS, QTLS, or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Has experience teaching Computer Science at KS3 and KS4.
- Possesses strong classroom management skills.
- Demonstrates a passion for technology and education.
- Is committed to raising achievement and inspiring learners.
- ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply.
