About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Computing to lead our computing department. This is a fantastic chance for a dedicated educator to design and implement a whole-school computing strategy, ensuring every student develops the confidence and skills needed to thrive in a digital world.
The computing department delivers a broad and engaging curriculum, and we are seeking a passionate leader to drive innovation and excellence in this vital subject.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of a school-wide computing strategy.
- Deliver a stimulating, imaginative, and challenging curriculum.
- Inspire and enthuse students through high-quality teaching.
- Work collaboratively with all departments to integrate computing across the curriculum.
- Provide training and support for teachers to enhance computing teaching.
- Promote a positive culture of computing through innovative initiatives and events.
- Develop targeted interventions for students with computing difficulties.
- Liaise with parents, governors, and external organisations to enhance provision.
