ICT / Computer Science Teacher
Secondary School – Croydon Start: ASAP | Contract until August 2026 Potential for Permanent Role from September
We are working with a welcoming and well-resourced secondary school in Croydon who are seeking a committed and knowledgeable ICT / Computer Science Teacher to join their team on an initial contract until the end of the academic year, with the potential for a permanent role from September for the right candidate.
The Role
- Teaching ICT and Computer Science from Year 7 to Year 13
- Delivering engaging, well-structured lessons that support progress across a range of abilities
- Teaching KS3 ICT and GCSE & A-Level Computer Science (experience with both is desirable)
- Contributing to curriculum planning and assessment
- Supporting pupils’ digital literacy, problem-solving and computing skills
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching ICT and/or Computer Science at secondary level
- Confident delivering lessons across KS3–KS5
- Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
- Enthusiastic, adaptable and committed to student progress
- Open to a contract role with the intention of securing a longer-term or permanent position
