We are seeking a dynamic ICT Teacher to join our team at Secondary School, in South Cumbria. This role is perfect for a professional with a robust understanding of the ICT curriculum, effective communication skills, and a passion for fostering a technology-driven learning environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Design and deliver engaging ICT lessons that integrate current technology and software tools.
- Develop lesson plans that meet the diverse needs of students and adhere to curriculum standards.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new learning tools and software, integrating them into the classroom environment.
- Assess and evaluate students' progress in ICT and provide constructive feedback to enhance learning.
- Manage classroom dynamics effectively, ensuring a safe and conducive learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share resources and strategies, continually improving teaching practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching ICT at various educational levels.
- Strong practical and theoretical knowledge of information and communications technology.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to motivate students.
- Good interpersonal skills, demonstrating reliability, patience, and professionalism.
