REED Technology is partnering with a leading organisation on a mission to deliver secure, scalable, and strategic technology solutions. We’re looking for a Security Architect to take ownership of critical security workstreams and help define the IT security strategy across the business.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver secure, compliant architectures aligned with enterprise strategy
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders and DDaT leadership to roadmap secure solutions
• Lead and guide Solution Architects and Technical Delivery teams
• Maintain a forward-looking security technology roadmap
• Review supplier proposals for compliance and quality
• Identify and mitigate architectural risks across key IT projects
• Act as a trusted advisor on security strategy and technology selection

Key Skills and Experience

• Proven experience designing enterprise-grade security architectures
• Strong knowledge of ISO27001, CES, and CES+ frameworks
• Solid understanding of modern infrastructure, cloud, and application security
• Excellent communication skills — translating technical detail into business insight
• Strategic mindset with a pragmatic approach to risk and solution design
• Experience with Microsoft security technologies (e.g., Defender, Sentinel) is a plus
• Degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Certifications like CISSP, CISM, or SABSA are highly desirable
