Location: Reading (Hybrid working considered; office presence preferred)Salary: £50,000 – £65,000 Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm
Overview
My client is seeking a highly organised and detail-driven Security and Business Continuity Analyst to join their team. This role is crucial in ensuring the ongoing resilience, security, and compliance of the business. You will support physical and cyber security requirements, Business Continuity planning, risk management processes, and contribute to business-wide quality and compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities
Security & Cyber Responsibilities
- Support all physical and cyber security requirements in line with existing policies, controls, and cybersecurity principles
- Maintain physical security policies and associated registers
- Manage and support all aspects of cyber security within the business
- Promote business-wide awareness of cyber procedures and best practices
- Support incident response, disaster recovery (DR), and data breach protocols
- Assist with cyber-related audit activity
Business Continuity & Risk
- Support the development, management, and review of the Business Continuity Plan (BCP)
- Contribute to Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and Risk Assessments
- Coordinate or support continuity training sessions and simulation exercises
- Assist with the organisation’s risk and resilience programme
- Test and evaluate BCP and security plans, ensuring updates are made based on lessons learned
Quality, Compliance & Documentation
- Provide support for customer service delivery requirements relating to Quality
- Assist with audit preparation, support, and follow-up actions
- Maintain GDPR processes and compliance documentation in support of the Quality Manager
- Create presentations, documentation, and reports for the Quality department
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and compliance standards are upheld
- Support all aspects of compliance, documentation control, and audit readiness
General Responsibilities
- Respond to customer queries in line with company policy
- Communicate effectively with line management regarding issues, concerns, or changes in personal circumstances that may impact performance
- Attend meetings and complete mandatory training as required
- Maintain professional standards, including appropriate office attire
- Carry out ad-hoc tasks or additional duties as directed by senior management
