We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our team, working on a high-profile project involving regulatory changes due to Brexit. This role involves collaboration with a technology team and requires a deep understanding of customs and regulatory projects.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Work closely with the technology team to understand and document the regulatory changes affecting goods movement between Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
- Quickly grasp the scope and impact of the project on various business units and systems.
- Lead and manage other Business Analysts within the project.
- Engage in requirements gathering, process mapping, and the creation of detailed business analysis documentation.
- Facilitate discussions and workshops with multiple stakeholders to ensure clear understanding and alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
- Manage stakeholder relationships effectively, ensuring communication is clear and professional at all levels.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst within large, complex organisations.
- Experience in managing multi-supplier programmes and leading other Business Analysts.
- Strong background in customs or regulatory projects, particularly related to Brexit changes.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of operating at both detailed technical levels and broader business contexts.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Proficient in business process modelling using UML/BPMN.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage conflicts and collaborate effectively.
- Experience in vendor/supplier management within a multi-supplier environment.
- Technical proficiency with a good understanding of software integration and data mapping.
Desirable:
- Experience with the movement of goods between GB and Europe.
- Previous experience in the retail/logistics sectors.
- Familiarity with Secure Data Exchange Service (SDES) and customs middleware brokers like AB.
