We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst to play a pivotal role in a major transformation programme involving the replacement of a key legacy system for a prominent media client. This role is crucial for leading business analysis activities and serving as the primary liaison between technical teams and senior stakeholders across various functions.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Act as the principal interface between business stakeholders and the delivery team, engaging senior leaders across multiple functions.
  • Lead workshops, playback sessions, and governance forums to secure buy-in and sign-off from stakeholders.
  • Complete comprehensive AS-IS process mapping, identify inefficiencies, and design TO-BE processes aligned with business priorities.
  • Produce clear, structured process models using BPMN, ensuring consistency across technical and business audiences.
  • Capture, document, and prioritise both functional and non-functional requirements, translating complex business rules into detailed specifications for technical teams.
  • Navigate competing stakeholder priorities and provide structured analysis to support key decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with Enterprise Architects, Product Owners, and Technical Leads to ensure alignment with the target architecture.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience as a Senior Business Analyst in complex transformation programmes, particularly with legacy system replacements.
  • Expertise in AS-IS / TO-BE process mapping within highly integrated environments.
  • Proficiency in BPMN, with the ability to produce scalable process models.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
  • Strong experience facilitating workshops and decision-making forums.
  • Ability to translate complex business needs into structured technical requirements.
  • Experience working in cross-functional, matrixed organisations.
  • Comfortable in ambiguous, fast-paced environments with evolving requirements.

Desirable Experience:

  • Background in media, publishing, or digital rights environments.
  • Knowledge of rights management, syndication, or content lifecycle systems.
  • Experience with global finance/payroll systems and tax compliance (e.g., IR35).
  • Familiarity with integrated enterprise landscapes and API-driven architectures.
