Senior Editor / Copywriter

A leading global IT organisation is seeking a highly skilled storyteller and content strategist with deep experience across the evolving consultancy and technology sectors.

You will work closely with consultants, B2B leaders, marketing teams, and subject matter experts to translate complex ideas into powerful, compelling narratives. You must be confident navigating ambiguity, comfortable with “back-of-an-envelope” briefs, and adept at turning raw concepts into meaningful, high-impact content.

This is a hands-on content leadership role requiring strong editorial judgement, stakeholder management, and an ability to shape and influence strategic narrative across multiple regions and platforms.

This is an initial contract until the end of March 2026 but will be extended beyond this date. The role is based in Bracknell with excellent flexibility on going to the office, the daily rate is up to £600 per day via an Umbrella company (inside IR35).

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop content from concept through to channel, working with B2B leaders, consultants, marketers, and strategic partners.
  • Research, fact-check, and ensure accuracy across all produced content.
  • Apply and maintain Fujitsu’s unique consulting lexicon and editorial tone.
  • Produce clear, influential written content tailored for regional audiences.
  • Maintain an uncompromising standard of quality in all narrative outputs.
  • Engage with diverse internal stakeholders to understand context, objectives, and business needs.
  • Shape, refine, and enforce narrative clarity across complex technical topics.
  • Adapt content for a wide range of platforms and digital touchpoints.
  • Facilitate discussions, set expectations, and confidently offer constructive feedback.

Essential Attributes

  • Expert Storyteller — able to lead narrative direction confidently.
  • Strong understanding of trending tech topics including AI, Cyber, Digital Twin, ML, Sustainability, Net Zero, and wider digital transformation trends.
  • Experience working in B2B, consulting, or technology sectors with multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to break down complex or technical subject matter into clear, compelling content.
  • Context-led working style — able to analyse requirements and deliver to specific business needs.
  • Digital proficiency with the ability to apply a modern digital mindset to all outputs.
  • Highly flexible and adaptable across formats, audiences, and delivery channels.
  • Skilled at managing expectations, facilitating discussions, and influencing stakeholders.
  • Comfortable giving and receiving constructive, actionable feedback.
  • Strong proficiency in:Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook, Windows 11 (PC), Teams, Copilot
