As a Senior Front-End Developer, you’ll play a pivotal role in architecting scalable systems, introducing new frameworks and patterns, and delivering technically challenging products that form part of a long-term strategic digital roadmap. This is a hands-on engineering role with genuine influence, technical autonomy, strategic input, and the opportunity to lead on solutions that push boundaries.
You’ll contribute to:
- Enterprise-grade web applications using React + TypeScript

Within this role you will:
- Building secure, high-performance web applications with React + TypeScript
- Designing and delivering innovative software from concept to deployment
- Working in a cross-functional agile team with designers, cloud engineers, and product specialists
- Integrating APIs and contributing to robust CI/CD pipelines
- Writing clean, testable code with strong unit test coverage
- Identifying opportunities for optimisation, automation, and improved engineering processes
- Supporting and mentoring colleagues, contributing to an open, forward-thinking engineering culture
You’ll also help deliver highly complex, strategic solutions aligned with wider digital ambitions.
Skills
- Strong expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Advanced commercial experience with React
- Confidence designing scalable front-end architecture
- Experience with API integration, cloud platforms, and CI/CD workflows
- Writing unit tests Modern front end testing frameworks like Jest
- Ability to mentor colleagues and collaborate effectively
- Strong understanding of performance, security, and modern engineering patterns
Desirable Skills
- Docker and container-based development
- Backend API development exposure
- Experience with continuous delivery pipelines
