A leading Northeast technology business is looking to add a Frontend Developer to its growing engineering team. Following significant recent investment and continued customer growth, the company is entering an exciting phase of product expansion and innovation. The business develops a widely used SaaS platform serving large enterprise organisations across the UK and internationally, with a strong focus on user experience, scalability, and modern web technologies.

This is an opportunity to join a collaborative product engineering environment where you'll have genuine influence over frontend development, user experience, and technical direction.

The Opportunity

You'll be working primarily with React and TypeScript, designing and building new user-facing features across a modern SaaS platform. At the same time, you'll help support and enhance a number of existing applications built in Vue.js, making it essential that you're comfortable working across both technologies.

This role would suit an experienced frontend engineer who enjoys solving complex UI challenges, writing clean and maintainable code, and collaborating closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams.

Skills

• Strong commercial experience developing frontend applications with React
• Previous experience working with Vue.js and confidence supporting legacy applications
• Strong JavaScript and/or TypeScript skills
• Excellent knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and modern frontend development practices
• Experience integrating with RESTful APIs
• Understanding of component-based architecture and scalable frontend systems
• Experience using Git, CI/CD pipelines and Agile delivery practices
• Passion for creating high-quality user experiences

Nice to Have

• Experience with Azure DevOps
• Exposure to .NET environments
• Knowledge of frontend testing frameworks
• Previous experience working within SaaS or product-led technology businesses

Salary for this role is £50K - £60K DOE
