Senior Infrastructure Engineer Location: Ilford, Essex Hybrid Working | £40,000 - £53,000 Basic Salary

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will:

• Provide expert 3rd line technical support across a large enterprise environment.
• Lead on Azure networking and Microsoft technology implementations.
• Drive the adoption and integration of key technologies, including 3rd party SaaS products, with a strong emphasis on security and Single Sign-On (SSO).

Core Technical Capabilities

• Microsoft Azure Administration – Manage and secure our cloud estate.
• ARM/Bicep – Deliver infrastructure-as-code for consistent and automated deployments.
• Azure DevOps & CI/CD Pipelines – Enable agile delivery and automation.
• Microsoft 365 Suite – Support collaboration tools including SharePoint, Exchange, and Teams.

End User Computing (EUC) Expertise

• Microsoft Intune – Manage devices securely across corporate and BYOD environments.
• Azure Device Management – Provision and monitor endpoints with Autopilot and Defender for Endpoint.
• Windows Autopilot & Endpoint Analytics – Enhance onboarding and user experience.
• Patch Management & Compliance Reporting – Maintain security and regulatory compliance.

Experience & Knowledge

• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code and modern deployment technologies.
• Strong background in technical documentation, strategy, and solution design.
• Experience integrating security products into complex environments.
• Familiarity with Zero Trust Network Access solutions (e.g., Zscaler – Advantage).
• Knowledge of proxy networks, Zscaler routing, and Meraki (Advantage).
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise cloud environments.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Intune and automated deployment techniques (Advantage).
