A leading provider of supported housing for vulnerable and disabled people in the UK are seeking a Senior Officer to oversee database performance and regulatory reporting, ensuring data integrity and supporting their mission to deliver high-quality homes and support.
Day-to-Day of the Role:
- Data Management & Systems:
- Collaborate with IT and operational teams to maintain and improve data across various systems.
- Ensure high levels of data integrity and quality, promoting best practices in data usage.
- Oversee the collection, validation, and analysis of performance data, training staff on data entry and performance monitoring.
- Data Performance & Reporting:
- Develop and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) aligned with strategic objectives.
- Produce regular performance reports and dashboards, presenting data to internal and external stakeholders.
- Benchmarking & Service Improvement:
- Benchmark service performance against sector standards and implement improvements based on insights.
- Work closely with various teams to align data requests and coordinate responses.
- Compliance & Regulation:
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and support internal and external audits.
- Assist in regulatory activities and maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislation and best practices.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Present performance findings to stakeholders, including residents and regulators.
- Contribute to resident engagement initiatives and represent the organisation in sector groups.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in performance management within supported housing or social care.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel, and Power BI.
- Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
- Knowledge of housing management systems and regulatory frameworks.
- Ideally experience using PYRAMID or similar.
- Level 4 or 5 Certificate/Diploma in Housing Management or a related qualification.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
