A leading provider of supported housing for vulnerable and disabled people in the UK are seeking a Senior Officer to oversee database performance and regulatory reporting, ensuring data integrity and supporting their mission to deliver high-quality homes and support.

Day-to-Day of the Role:

  • Data Management & Systems:
    • Collaborate with IT and operational teams to maintain and improve data across various systems.
    • Ensure high levels of data integrity and quality, promoting best practices in data usage.
    • Oversee the collection, validation, and analysis of performance data, training staff on data entry and performance monitoring.
  • Data Performance & Reporting:
    • Develop and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) aligned with strategic objectives.
    • Produce regular performance reports and dashboards, presenting data to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Benchmarking & Service Improvement:
    • Benchmark service performance against sector standards and implement improvements based on insights.
    • Work closely with various teams to align data requests and coordinate responses.
  • Compliance & Regulation:
    • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and support internal and external audits.
    • Assist in regulatory activities and maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislation and best practices.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Present performance findings to stakeholders, including residents and regulators.
    • Contribute to resident engagement initiatives and represent the organisation in sector groups.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in performance management within supported housing or social care.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel, and Power BI.
  • Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
  • Knowledge of housing management systems and regulatory frameworks.
  • Ideally experience using PYRAMID or similar.
  • Level 4 or 5 Certificate/Diploma in Housing Management or a related qualification.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
