Join our team at a leading management consultancy and technology services company, where we are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a strategic initiative focused on the future of mobile device capability within operations. This role is crucial for driving the evolution of the PDA platform, enabling device-agnostic capabilities, and overseeing the selection, procurement, and rollout of next-generation handheld devices.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of the PDA platform and device strategy initiative.
  • Drive initial scoping and feasibility, including business case alignment.
  • Oversee transition into vendor selection, procurement, and delivery phases.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across Technology, Operations, and Procurement.
  • Ensure alignment with broader business strategy and operational requirements.
  • Act as the central point of coordination across all workstreams, providing clear governance, reporting, and executive updates.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager or Programme Manager delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong experience in technology-enabled transformation, ideally involving mobile platforms or device rollouts and enterprise applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to work across Tech, Operations, and Commercial/Procurement.
  • Experience managing early-stage (scoping/feasibility) through to delivery lifecycle.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including senior leadership engagement.
  • Experience working with or alongside Business Analysts and Solution Architects.
  • Familiarity with vendor selection, RFP/tender processes, and commercial considerations.

Desirable:

  • Experience with device strategy, hardware procurement, or managed service environments.
  • Exposure to Android ecosystems or device-agnostic platforms.
  • Background in logistics, operations, or field-based workforce environments.
  • Experience in large, complex organisations with legacy systems.
