Senior Project Manager
SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER, INFRASTRUCTURE, SC CLEARED, NPPV3 CLEARED, OUTSIDE IR35, REMOTE ROLE
My client, a leader in the public sector, is seeking a senior project manager to work across its digital estate.
The role of the Senior Project Manager is to deliver projects that span across one or more Towers and 3rd party suppliers. Managing resources, schedules, and financials and adhering to stage gate quality checkpoints throughout life cycle of the project(s). This also includes management of issues, risks and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery. The Senior Project Manager has the authority to monitor the project as per the agreed project plan. Verify that the project produces the required deliverables of quality, within the specified constraints of time and cost and to achieve the potential benefits defined in the business case.
The key result areas for the supplier of the Senior Project Manager role are:
- Manage the complex project that span one or multiple Towers and 3rd party suppliers
- Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation, deployment to completion including project closure.
- Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving, demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
- Prepare detailed project plan for all phases of the project
- Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues
- Understand interdependencies between projects
- Manage project scope and changes
- Monitor ongoing quality control and advise in quality issue resolution
- Where applicable define and agree success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project(s)
Due to the nature of this role, you must hold a valid SC or NPPV3 security clearance to be considered. We will be looking at a start date of early 2027 due to the security clearance timeframes.
