Senior Project Manager

• Location: Hybrid,1-2 days per week onsite in West London
• Outside IR35

Join Reed Professional Services as a Senior Project Manager, working closely with our clients Service Improvement team. This role is crucial for overseeing technology functions and managing the 'Service Improvement Next Phase' project, which includes the rollout of Windows 11 across technology channels.

• Lead the planning and implementation of project tasks, specifically focusing on the Windows 11 rollout.
• Work closely with various stakeholders within the business to ensure project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are on track.
• Manage project progress and adapt work as required to meet changing needs and requirements.
• Identify risks and manage them proactively, ensuring mitigation strategies are in place.
• Communicate project status, issues, and successes regularly with the project team and other relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure resources are allocated appropriately and that the team members are actively engaged.
• Document all project phases and ensure all project documents are safely archived following project completion.

• Proven experience in managing large-scale IT projects, particularly with Windows 11 rollout.
• Background in media or broadcast is highly desirable.
• Strong stakeholder and people management skills, capable of handling challenging interactions.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, tailored to a broad audience.
• Demonstrated resilience and persistence, with a drive to maintain progress and resolve issues.
• Effective delegation and negotiation skills.
• Ability to remain calm and maintain perspective in challenging situations.
• Strong commercial acumen and value-driven supplier management.
• Solid technical knowledge to support the project team in issue resolution and escalation.
• Creative and innovative thinking; adept problem-solving skills.
• Experience with traditional and modern software/IT development lifecycles (Agile, Iterative, and Waterfall).
