- 3 days per week on-site in Warrington (Northwest), 2 from home
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager for a 4-month contract to lead several regulatory driven programmes, ensuring each of the projects are delivered to time, cost and quality whilst utilising industry best practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Key areas of the job and how you test successful delivery of the accountability (in addition to these functions, employees are required to carry out such other duties as may be reasonably required
- To ensure projects are managed and delivered according to governance standards
- To define, plan, direct and deliver the agreed projects to time, cost and quality objectives
- To manage multiple projects within Strategic Programmes
- To maintain and track the milestones and dependencies, to be proactive with communication to enable mitigation against the missing of key dates.
- Establish overall Strategic Programmes project deliverables and critical success factors to provide a basis for effective planning and management of projects.
- Monitor and review all Strategic projects, prioritise projects. Ensure Maximum efficiency and value for money.
- Ownership of the project plan including managing change and risk to ensure the project delivers against the agreed success criteria.
- Ownership of the project to ensure that the project delivers to LBE.
- Prepares Business Cases and project progress reports for assignment leads
- Adherence to quality management standards for project delivery.
- Ensure readiness for implementation / handover to maximise business subsequent realisation of benefits and service stability.
- To oversee and co-ordinate change and ensuring that the appropriate governance processes are followed
- Matrix management of multiple team members.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong track record and experience in working a changing environment where uncertainty and ambiguity is high
- First-hand experience of delivering within business change frameworks
- Understanding and experience of the regulatory framework, with previous experience of handling of company confidential and sensitive information
- Understanding of business analysis tools and approaches and their application to solve large scale and/or complex problems
- Track record of developing / managing audit and assurance activities on a regulatory programme ·
- Ability to engage and manage cross functional teams and partners to deliver solutions that are best for the client
