Senior Test Analyst Data Migration (SC Cleared):    • Contract Duration: ASAP - expected to be 12-18 months    • Rate: £400 per day inside IR35    • Location: Belfast, Northern Ireland    • Job Type: Contract, Hybrid (3 days a week in Belfast Office)    • Mandatory: SC Clearance active

We are seeking a Senior Test Analyst for a Data Migration project. This is a new role within the Test and Validation Department, starting in early November and expected to last 12-18 months. The successful candidate will have to be based in Northern Ireland and will work three days a week from the Belfast office.

Day-to-day of the role:    • Conduct thorough data analysis and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and integrity of data migration.    • Utilise strong SQL skills to manage data effectively, particularly with Postgres JSON/JSONB operators and functions.    • Work with various AWS services such as S3, QuickSight, and Glue to manage and analyse data.    • Validate data formats using JSON/Parquet and ensure compatibility with JSON/Avro schemas.    • Use tools like Postman for API testing and PowerShell for scripting and automation tasks.    • Collaborate with team members to identify issues and develop solutions in the data migration process.

Required Skills & Qualifications:    • Strong SQL skills, especially with Postgres JSON/JSONB operators and functions.    • Proven experience in data analysis and reconciliation, ideally with an ETL background.    • Must already hold SC clearance as part of the application process.

Highly Desirable Skills:    • Basic understanding of AWS services (S3, QuickSight, Glue).    • Experience with JSON/Parquet validation and familiarity with JSON/Avro schemas.    • Proficiency in using Postman.    • Familiarity with PowerShell.
