Location: Whitley Bay – Hybrid (2 days from office)Salary: £49K - £56K DOE + excellent benefits

Skills

• Strong experience in UI/UX design, supported by a portfolio of responsive, user-focused projects.
• Proficiency with leading design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Photoshop, or Illustrator.
• Solid understanding of colour theory, layout, typography, and visual hierarchy.
• Ability to produce sitemaps, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI designs.
• Experience working with component-based design systems.
• Clear communication skills and confidence engaging with both technical and non-technical teams.

Beneficial

• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, or JavaScript to support collaboration with developers.
• Experience contributing to user research and iterative testing.
• Understanding of accessibility standards such as WCAG.

Salary: This role is between £49K - £56K DOE
